Bob Hillier
Bob Hillier has been a member since 2008 with an interest in oils. Under guidance and lessons with Hans Koppan, he has developed a particular interest and his own style in (mainly) landscape paintings. Though he confidently tackles such diversely different subjects as his cute, little dog, right up to a commission for a mate’s corporate, bright red, heavy duty Coles truck (with every detail perfect), versatile Bob will most happily paint a landscape .. a farmhouse, or a lighthouse, or whatever.
He now lives locally, having once had a rural property to include horses and his love of them. These days, when he's not painting, he enjoys golf, riding his bike in all weather and conditions, footy and gardening.

Bob has been a regular to the Tuesday painting group and is usually the first arrival - when most members are still eating their breakfast. This early time he devotes as a volunteer handyman for Arts North, maintaining weed and leaf litter control, setting up the studio and all round fix-it duties. Some members would be unaware of the many tireless, unselfish hours Bob gives to keep the premises functioning well, yet he still finds the time to paint.
