Art Lessons (or 'learning 'Art')
- Yes, guidance is currently available to the 'less-experienced' or to beginners, in Drawing and in Oil & Acrylic Painting. (That guidance is provided by Arts North members who 'volunteer' their time and experience. Arts North has no 'staff'.)
Lynette Davies
Lynette was a relatively new member at Arts North and had every reason to be pleased with this painting of 'Saddleworth Creek' - painted with guidance from other members.

- Guidance in Oil Painting and Acrylic Painting is available Tues and Thur 9.30am -12.30pm
Note:
After an introductory period (notionally at the third (3hour) 'session', paid or otherwise), there is an expectation on the part of Arts North that 'newbies' will understand that the (prorata) membership payment of $35/year needs to be forthcoming, because the Society still has to pay the bills!. (We are nice people, but bills can be unforgiving.)
The society will help would-be new members with advice on basic materials and is able to supply basic needs at cost if required.
Needless to say, Arts North is 'non-profit'. All persons providing services at Arts North are unpaid volunteers. Arts North receives no external funding.
