Don Meyer
(It pleases me that three of the four drawings above (done within a session of each other) might be thought not to be done by the same person)
A recent couple of takes on a new face

"and now for something completely different .."
Perhaps the most pleasing element of this drawing to me is that it was drawn in 10 mins - with an intended minimum of line work. D.
Don Meyer's (old) slide show
Life drawing - a couple of older but wonderfully loose drawings that still give me pleasure...
another couple of pastel efforts -

This is Don's in-situ sketch for 1mx1m head of dragon number TWO on floor of home workshop/studio; part of 25-30sqm actual mosaic (in 45sqm floor) - with all mosaic credit belonging to she-who-must-be-etc (Linda) (and some sweat belong Don).

Dragon No1 (Lucy) above - over 5metres long - in profile , with Pearl of Wisdom.
Dragon No 2 (Matilda - 3/4 view) left and below. Progress was slow - China's Great Wall was faster? (This is a job for people with 'patience' - 'patience': a mild form of despair, .. disguised as a minor virtue.)
