Until recently, this group has come together each fortnight over some eight to nine years to practise drawing portraits from life - a totally different skill to that of drawing a portrait from a photograph. (If you don't appreciate the difference, try it sometime...?)
The (yes, clothed) models are the group members themselves, taking turns (usually 20 min poses).
Most work shows that some more practice is needed .... and that's what it is about!!
Cost to members attending - $5 ( to offset rent and power! - yes, airconditioned cooling/heating). Prorata membership (currently $35/annum) expected from newbies who attend a third session.
If you (and ?perhaps a friend as well?) might be interested in helping to re-form this group, contact Don on 0417892019.

Tried a format change to include a 'body bits' segment (about 20-25mins over several views)
First up was 'ear' (click to view) The exercise was very well received!! (Someone, please insist we do it again!?)
