 Hans Koppan - Morning Light What a great way to start 2016. Hans was successful at the Victor Harbor Rotary Art Show - selling his oil landscape 'Morning Light' for $2000. Congratulations Hans! (The work was just a touch over the 1sq metre standard entry size - and copped the $50 (larger) entry fee - nice call Hans!) Regardless, I am sure we all think that someone got a great work at a good price.

 'Happy Chappy' Watercolour on Canvas Gerhard Ritter Seems Victor Harbor Art Show was successful also for Gerhard, ... this work 'Happy Chappy' snapped-up at $500. Congratulations Gerhard! And ... Gerhard saw out the Old Year in great style, taking the overall second prize at the Port Adelaide Rotary Art Show for his watercolour of his nephew, entitled (prevocatively) 'Lookout'.  'Lookout' Watercolour Gerhard Ritter You might remember that Gerhard won the Port Adelaide second prize last year also. What odds for 2016/17? (Doesn't all this award-winning/selling news bring to mind the particularly high degree of talent that we are fortunate enough to have amongst our membership??) |
