You could not miss seeing the light - in the studio ...

Hans has been working recently on his latest large format (1m x 1m approx) landscape (or perhaps more precisely 'water-scape').

'Cordola Lagoon' - Hans Koppan - oil on canvas

This was done from a photo taken on a recent camping trip with his family. Hans is extremely skillful in painting water and capturing the light. He has a love of photography and uses all his own images for his wonderful landscapes, which are done in oil and generally on large stretch canvases.
