Seems Janet Newton has been using Covid ISO time to good effect. Definitely not one for own-barrow-pushing, the work below had to find its way to this page via third parties.
It shows exemplary skill in botanical art (for Janet, a fairly new pursuit), painted in watercolour (it seems only a couple of years ago Janet first engaged with w/colour, too), done from real specimens from her garden during the autumn.
I am sure that all Arts North would join in saying to Janet "Well Done" (perhaps with a bit of envy?)
