The Arts North group exhibition My Passions opened on the 13th July at John Harvey gallery. It was a bumper show with 45 works taking in: textile, digital drawing, mixed media collage, pastel, oil, acrylic, and water colour.
Hans with Arts North members and staff from Salisbury Council successfully hung the large body of highly diverse work harmoniously, and a big thank you to Cindy for doing the catering. The show was opened by Tabatha from Council with message of thanks given by Meredith (particular thanks to Margaret Tuckey for judging), and the following winners were announced : Category 1: winner was Colin Trenaman and highly commended went to Gem Congdon. Category 2: winner was Sue Cluse and highly commended went to Bill Truslove. Category 3: winner was Angelo Gencarelli and highly commended went to Hans Koppan. The judges encouragement award went to Robert Martin. My Passions closes on 6th August. |
