This Wednesday at Arts North I am presenting a workshop in watercolour portraits; Tuesday this week a demo at the RSASA in oil portraiture from a live model (my terra cotta of Brian Cox is included in the finalists exhibition currently there in the RSASA Portrait Competition); all August at the Port Community Art Centre Black Diamond Gallery "Fusion" exhibition where I received two merits on Saturday last - viz one for a watercolour portrait on canvas and one for a bronze sculpture; I have three watercolours on display in the current SALA exhibition of "Wonderful Watercolours" (incidentally - I'll be doing a watercolour workshop there on Saturday Nov 4th); I'm teaching a six week course at Burnside Painters Group on Mondays starting this month as well as a six week course in watercolours at Pepper St in September to October and finally I make an appearance all August in a multi page feature article in the Australian Artist Magazine as a member of the Four Amigos painting at the recent Campbelltown Rotary Art Exhibition. Of course I'm also regularly at Arts North, where I have a pastel and a watercolour on display in the main Frank Boyle room and I regularly paint each Saturday at South Australian Watercolour Society.
