The Arts North exhibition 'Northern Creativity' opened at Birdwood on Sunday 25th of March with members and their families in attendance.
It was a diverse exhibition with 32 works in oil, acrylic, water colour and pastel and three metal sculptures.

Gerhard, who opened the exhibition, spoke of the artistic creative process, being "in the zone", and how art "bares something of the artist's soul".
The work exhibited in this show reflected the passion of 17 different artists, and is testimony to the great diversity of the Arts North group, and was skillfully hung (as usual) and harmoniously brought together.

The date will be 19th of May between 1-3pm, and will feature Alan Ramachandran and Gerhard Ritter using water colour, Mike Barr using oil (and possibly acrylics), and Bill Truslove using pastel.
